    GeekLogDean and Britta EP out October 17 Have a version of "Since I Lay My Burden Down" covered by former Luna founder/member duo Dean and Britta, coming out on Zoe records October 17, 2006.

    The EP contains one song from their forthcoming January full length, plus a few other cover's (Adam Green, Donovan, and Bobby Darin.....what company.).
    Dean and Britta factoids:
    * DEAN WAREHAM & BRITTA PHILLIPS are known for being one-half of the critically acclaimed band LUNA. Founded by Wareham in 1992, Luna released seven studio albums. Prior to that, Wareham led the seminal indie band Galaxie 500. In 2002, Dean & Britta released their debut album, L'Avventura.
    * Once upon a time, Britta Phillips was the singing voice of cartoon rock-star JEM. She also co-starred in the coming-of-age movie 'Satisfaction' with Julia Roberts and Liam Neeson.
    * Dean and Britta scored the music to last year's Academy Award-nominated film 'The Squid and the Whale' and to Morgan Freeman's upcoming film 'Just Like the Son'
    *Their 2nd full-length album will be released in January 2007.? Both the EP and upcoming full-length were produced by Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T. Rex)
